23rd Australian Jamboree (2nd - 12th January, 2013)
Update: Three of our Scouts went to the Jamboree. By all reports they had a great time (but getting information out of three teenages is proving difficult! ) Next Jamboree is in our own backyard at Cataract Scout Park in 2016. We're hoping to get a large contingent to attend. Fundraising and preparations have begun!!

Following the success of our Fundraising BBQs, we are doing it again!! We would like to see as many helpers there as we can. It is a great way to raise some much needed funds for a commitment of just one day. Please let us know when you can assist (by email or filling in the form at the meetings)
We raise as much as the chocolate sales.. in just one day.

Bunnings fundraising days.
27th April
A really great day - Big thank you for the people that were able to attend at such short notice (we had less than a week to get it organised after Bunnings advised us that another organisation had to pull out). Always a great way to earn some extra cash for the kids. Proceeds to assist the Cuboree fees for the Cubs and Leaders.
15th January
Not quite as good as the previous BBQs, colder, rainy weather kept away the early morning customers. The day did pick up though and we managed to sell out of buns and sausages again.
Drink sales were slower due to the weather.
Again - a BIG thank you to all of our helpers. Many hands making light work. Its a great chance to get some much needed funds for the Group and Sections with immediate results.
11th December
Fantastic day. We might be getting the hang of this! We are learning from past exeriences and making the day run much smoother. Set up and clean up much easier with a few more people - Thank You to all that attended (even an hour of you time really helps!).
Another day with all rolls/sausages sold. Only a few drinks left as well.
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and we will see you in the new year!
11th September
A big thank you to the Joeys, Cubs, Parents, Leaders, Committee Members who helped out at the recent Bunnings BBQ fundraising day.
The day was a great success and provided a welcome boost to the Group's funds.
Thank you to Bunnings for providing the venue, and of course to all of our customers who purchased the sausages-on-a-roll and/or a cold can of drink.
The kids did a fantastic job too! We finished the day having a great time, some money in the tins, and maybe even a new Cub or two.
